Pride in San Antonio is a celebration of LGBTQ+ identity, culture, and community. For decades, San Antonio Pride events have brought people together to celebrate visibility, support equality, and build connections across the city.

Pride210 was created by members of the community who believe Pride in San Antonio should always reflect the voices and values of the people it represents. Our goal is to help create Pride experiences that are transparent, collaborative, and rooted in the community.

San Antonio has a long history of LGBTQ+ advocacy and Pride celebrations. Pride events across the city have included marches, festivals, cultural celebrations, and community gatherings that highlight the diversity and resilience of LGBTQ+ people in South Texas.

Over time, Pride in San Antonio has evolved as new generations bring new energy, ideas, and expectations for how Pride should operate. Many community members today want greater transparency, accountability, and participation in shaping the future of Pride events in San Antonio.

Why Pride210 Was Created

Pride210 formed because many people in the San Antonio LGBTQ+ community felt their concerns were not being addressed by the current leadership of Pride San Antonio. Community members raised questions about transparency, decision-making, and the direction of Pride events in the city.
Rather than simply criticize, Pride210 focuses on building solutions and creating new opportunities for community involvement. Our goal is to help ensure that Pride in San Antonio reflects the needs, voices, and values of the LGBTQ+ community it serves.
